Issues

Parenting and chronic illness concentrate us to our corner of the world.  But there are decisions being made that impact our lives.  We can’t just sit back and observe while others are influencing or even threatening our lives.

We have two choices:

  1. Disconnect from the world and accept whatever we’ve given, whether it’s good, bad, or downright awful.
  2. Get involved.  You may tell your story to someone.  You may walk to earn money.  You may have a sit-in at your Senator’s office.  We all have opportunities to stay off the sidelines.

We owe it to ourselves to stay tuned in to what’s going on in the world.

We owe it to our children to stay tuned in.

We have to Speak Up.
