Can Do Day

Today is Can Do Day, the birthday of Can Do MS founder Jimmie Heuga.  When Jimmie was diagnosed with MS, he wasn’t going to follow the advice to just sit back and let the illness zap away his life.  As a former Olympian, that just wasn’t how he did things.  He focused on thriving with MS, and built an amazing organization of lifestyle empowerment programs.  In his memory, Facebook members were asked to make their Can Do pledge.  Can Do focuses on being more than your MS.

So what’s been keeping me from being more than my MS?  It’s a long list, so it’s a matter of figuring out where to start.  Looks like I need a plan.  So that’s what I did today – sat down and made a plan.  I googled and hoped I would be able to curb my inner perfectionist and get together a plan.  I found exactly what I needed at the first place I looked, Stage of Life,   I used their 10 step worksheet to put together my basic plan.  So now when I say, now what?  I’ve got answers for that.
